Widely called the single most tedious tree to level solo — most of its reliable XP comes from resupply runs to the objective, since you can't rely on teammates preferring a ground vehicle over a helicopter ride.

- The fastest way through the Driver grind for most players isn't soloing it: ride along as gunner or co-driver for a friend who's already unlocked a vehicle (up to and including a tank crew). Everyone inside a vehicle gets that vehicle's role XP whenever it scores a kill — not just whoever's driving.
- Filling resupply runs with actual cargo instead of driving empty adds reliable income on top of any combat kills you pick up along the way.
